About ’God Given Glyphs’

Your fingerprint glyphs are uniquely yours ….. and seven billion people share only seven glyph patterns. We are all different …. and we are all the same …. how fascinating our diversity….  and our unity!

Shared by all humanity, our glyphs compose only four primary patterns: arches, loops, triradii and whorls.

Together these four earthy, watery, fiery and airy shapes form the seven glyphs: simple arches, loops, tented arches, whorls, double loops, peacock’s eye’s and ‘accidentals’.

God’s inscriptions on our fingertips offer irrefutable proof of our individuality ……   and our Oneness.

Our fingerprints, the dermatoglyph symbols that are inscribed upon our hands, are not only an irrefutable mark of our identity – they also describe individual psychological profiles, each with their own unique signature traits.

This definitive glyph pattern guidebook enables you to easily identify your individual fingerprint patterns, so as to understand more about yourself; physically, emotionally, vocationally, mentally and spiritually.

Jennifer Hirsch presents over 200 images of the cosmic patterns that cover our palmar surfaces. The samples were chosen from her collection of well over 2,000 sets of hand prints, and include contributions from criminal records.

Guaranteed to capture your imagination, the illustrations are accompanied by meanings for when the glyph patterns are on thumbs, index, middle, ring and baby fingers, and the palm.

This is a comprehensive chirology ‘bible’, designed to draw attention to the newest developments in hand reading today and to present a fresh look at the increasingly popular craft.

About Chirology

The word chirology means ‘knowledge of the hands’. The hand reading craft is steeped in much of the old palmistry lore. The Romany Gypsies, whose blood line traces to India, brought west much of the knowledge that today is still cherished by hand readers.

Among the several newer ways of interpreting people’s traits from the forms and markings of their hands, I like to teach the five element system of chirology. The elements, earth, water, fire, air and chi are symbols for our physical, emotional, vocational, intellectual and spiritual life.

Within the holistic context of these five realms, our hands’ features are each ascribed different governing elements. The hands are read via principles and qualities drawn from the accurate and universal ‘language of the elements’. For example, short thick fingers show earthy practicality in a person, or moist skin reveals their watery sensitivity, and so on.

It is only relatively recently in hand reading history that our fingerprints have revealed to us their meanings. The unique glyphs that adorn our palms and fingers gained attention at the turn of the last century, when it was found that they establish our individual identity. Medical research has since proven that many diseases are diagnosable from their structures.

In the last century we have discovered how basic patterns of behaviour are encoded in their cosmic forms. Chirology is both rooted in ancient knowledge and firmly endorsed by science.

The practice of reading hands is also inextricably interwoven with the mysteries of intuitive perception. In ‘God Given Glyphs – Decoding Fingerprints – Chirology – The How-to of Hand Reading’ I share my wonder-filled exploration into the facts and the magic of the ancient craft of chirology, palmistry and hand reading.
